1- The unit is looking to have joint project with the local industry , This will be done  through   cooperation with the factory owners and local institutions And discuss the problems   they  suffer in industrial areas and  search for  the solutions proposed and implemented in  cooperation with these institutions

2- Arranging scientific agreement with local and international institutions and  Building research  units and laboratories To train graduates and engineers

3- launching workshops and meetings organizing national and international workshops and  inviting expert in the field of power electronics and energy conversion .

4- working on new academic programs in the field of power electronic and energy conversion

5-Authoring education materials designed on the basis of modular approach .

6- working on education material on the basis of E-learning approach for university students in  the field pf industrial Automation and other similar programs .
