OBJECTIVES

The main objectives of this are :

-          Providing  the industry with new technologies in the field of industrial electronics and signal processing.

-          Strengthen the relationships between the unit and local and global industries and similar institution.

-           Starting  advanced research projects in cooperation with external partners ( industrial sector, universities, and similar  research centers).

-          Solving Industrial problems in the field of power electronics

-          Design new apparatus, electronic circuits, and full industrial units, therefore increasing the university income and saving the national resources.

-          Organizing meetings and public forums with purpose to discus and exchange  knowledge with competence experts with purpose to enhance the technological level of this field.

-          Improve the educational environment of university students involved in this field directly or related fields. 

-          Inviting national and international expert in this field to give lectures, seminars, and advising issues.

-          This unit may play major role in  providing the university with new power electronic elements, circuits, and full scale industrial and laboratory systems.     

-          Organizing short and long term training programs, also this unit may play major role in preparing new academic programs on the level of B.E or Ms.c.
